2018 IWA水与污水前沿技术大会(LET)
河海大学环境学院边会
为扩大环境学院在水与污水研究领域的影响，促进学科交流与合作，环境学院拟在2018 IWA水与污水前沿技术大会(LET)期间（5月31日）举办高级水和污水处理技术的环境边会，将邀请全球科研机构和企业的顶尖专家，搭建学院与国际在水技术方面的交流合作平台，共同探索饮用水和污水处理方面的创新科技和管理手段，促进先进技术的规模化应用实施，以更好地应对我们在水环境保护与水资源可持续利用上面临的挑战。

注：IWA 水与污水前沿技术大会（IWA Leading Edge Conference on Water and Wastewater Technologies, 简称LET）是IWA的品牌会议之一，关注水技术领域最新的研究，创新和应用。LET大会至今已经在巴西费洛里亚诺波利斯（2017）、西班牙赫雷斯（2016）、中国香港（2015）、阿联酋阿布扎比（2014）、法国波尔多（2013）、澳大利亚布里斯班（2012）、美国凤凰城（2010）、新加坡（2009和2007）、瑞士苏黎世（2008）、日本札幌（2005）、捷克布拉格（2004）、荷兰阿姆斯特丹（2011和2003）成功举办了14届。第15届IWA水与污水前沿技术大会(LET 2018)将于2018年5月27日-31日在中国南京举办。

——Post conference workshop: The 15th IWA Leading Edge Conference on Water and Wastewater Technologies

The side workshop will be held on 31th May 2018 in Hohai university, right after the 15th IWA Leading Edge Conference on Water and Wastewater Technologies. Hohai University is the largest university in the world in the field of water science and engineering. The meeting aims to bring together leading academics, and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results in terms of innovative water and wastewater technologies. It will be an opportunity for participants to share new knowledge, insights, and discoveries about new technologies in drinking water and wastewater treatment, and to explore the opportunities for working together with the scientists from Hohai University to also address the aquatic pollution issues in eastern China, especially in the downstream of Yangtze River.
Here are main focus of the workshop (not limited):
(1) Innovative technologies for water pollution control and water management
(2) Advanced treatment technologies
