Research Fields and Interests

Water environment protection and bioremediation, including theory and technology of river and lake water quality improvement, ecological engineering for aquatic ecosystem restoration. Recent studies are to improve understanding of the manufactured nanomaterials environmental behaviors and biological effects in multi-medium of aquatic ecosystem, especially focus on the interactions between manufactured nanoparticles and microbial aggregates such as periphytic biofilms, wastewater biofilms, activated sludge, surficial sediment as well as cyanobacterial bloom.
